Sin Gusano Pechuga Tlacolula Mezcal

A limited-release pechuga-style mezcal from Sin Gusano, produced by Catalina Monterosa Ruiz and her sons near the city of Tlacolula, Oaxsaca. Made with Espadin agave, this mezcal was distilled three times, the final distillation done with the addition of a chicken and basket of fruits. The result is notes of bright orange, sticky fruit cake, aromatic agave, wisps of smoke – think Christmas pudding in a mezcal glass.
