El Rayo Reposado Tequila

El Rayo Reposado Tequila has spent seven months resting in ex-whiskey barrels, creating a soft, smooth character with notes of caramel, almonds and vanilla mingling with clean, vegetal agave. El Rayo takes its name from Mexican folklore, with tells of the great bolt of lightning – El Rayo –striking the blue agave in the hills near Tequila. When a local campesino saw the burning glow in the distance, he followed it until he discovered the cooked agave and Tequila was born.
